Mainly as Machie and I seem to spend half the time on the WLT chatting about Doctor Who...

Here's my current favourites;

Best Classic Episode: Genesis of the Daleks (Tom Baker)

Best Classic Doctor: Late 7th Doctor - when the stories got darker and the character really developed into something more than just a Timelord.

Best DVD: The Invasion

Best New Doctor Who Episode: Army of Ghosts / Doomsday

I'm not sure if any of you agree with me but I'd rather the daleks didnt fly so much. It kinda spoils it for me. They should only be able to hover up stairs. Not fly around, moving 100 times faster than they can on the ground with an infinte power source.

They use to be like tanks, powerful and slow. It's just now they're tanks slow and powerful but also planes, fast and agile.

No, it was the final member of the Cult of Scaro. If you remember in the final episode of series 2, the darker coloured Dalek (the one they turned into a human in this series) (One of the Daleks that came out of that gold sphere) said "Emergency Temperal Shift" (presumeably a teleport of some kind) when all the other Daleks and the Cybermen were being sucked into the 'nothingness', so I thought we would see that one again. Sure enough, we not only saw him again, we saw the entire Cult of Scaro again. At the end of Evolution of the Daleks, the final member of the Cult also said "Emergency Temperal Shift", leaving it open to re-appear in a future episode. None of the Daleks are anything to do with the Dalek in series one, which killed itself at the end of the episode it was featured in.

Hope that helps :)

Don't think so, the one that destroyed itself was a simple Dalek.

Could be wrong though.

I'm confused. Is the Dalek that ran off in the recent episode the same one that we came across in series 1 that killed itself?

Isn't there supposed to be a Doctor Who movie in a few years? Russel T Davies' crowning glory? I think that is supposed to explain all about Gallifrey and the Time War.

It actually feels a lot closer to the late Jon Pertwee and early Tom Baker stories, with all the action and the way that the Doctor's character acts.

The stories are going to be faster paced than the original series, anyway, due to the 45 minute single story episodes, as opposed to the usual 4 part stories of old.

Don't forget, each Doctor is different anyway. I would prefer that he found a way to bring Galifrey back though. I guess they didn't want all the other Timelords around, but then it also means Romana is dead too.

SPOILER

John Simm as the master should be great :) Yet another reference to Mister Saxon in the last episode.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.

Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
