It seems that every season, Man Utd just keep getting stronger and stronger. The have the money and the reputation to grab a hold of those world class players. It seems that it doesn't matter how strong the others teams get: as they get stronger, Man Utd get stronger. I mean, take a look at who they are going for now, Juan Sebastian Veron. People are saying that Man Utd will be unstoppable if they manage to capture him, and this could be true.
What other teams out there can really give Man Utd the challenge for the title.

Well, the way I see it, there are really only two teams that can challenge them at the moment; Arsenal and Liverpool. Why? I'll tell you.

Arsenal are really buy big at the moment. Wenger has a lot of money to spend on those players that can help them to lift the title. They have managed to sign Jeffers, a fantastic striker who can get Arsenal those goals that they always need. And then there is Van Bronckhorst, a midifielder who, alongside Viera, can really help Arsenal to the title. And it now looks like they can get hold of Richard Wright, who is the perfect candidate to take over from Seaman. And, they still have more money to spend.

Liverpool had a brilliant end to the season, winning the UEFA cup, the FA cup, and the Worthington cup. This means that they will be going into the new season on a high. I haven't seen much of them buying players, but do they really need to. It may be a good idea, as Man Utd are getting stronger as they are buy more and more world class players. Liverpool certainly have the class and skill to do it.

Both of the above teams present a threat to Man Utd, although my view may change while teams are still buying players. Of course, there is Ipswich and Leeds aswell, but I haven't heard much about them either, and the fact that Ipswich could be losing their goalkeeper, Richard Wright, could hinder their progress, unless they can get another world class goalkeeper.

Can another team win the title next year? It is looking more likely, but only time will tell.

It is all very frustrating. I am really annoyed now. And the papers splashing it all over the back page doesn't make it any better.

His agent said he was leaving but I've heard this before for many players. Zidane to Man Utd was one.

Yep, he's leaving. At the moment he doesn't actually have any plans in moving somewhere else, but what he has said is that he definately not be staying at Arsenal.

He also said that he would be interested in moving to three different clubs; Manchester United, Real Madrid or Barcelona.

But thats ok because I dont support Arsenal.

:D

just read somthin about cantona advising vieira to leave arsenal if he wants to. Dont know why he has said this, its not as if cantona is well respected in france.

I think the rumours have to be true. If they were not true, surely vieira would have denied them by now right? Only arsenal FC have said he is not for sale.

VEIRA IS LEAVING!! NOOOO!!!

Why can't anything go right for Arsenal. They start buying some new class players, with Giovanni Van Bronckhurst saying he was looking forward to playing alongside him. And then he goes and releases, this...this... this nasty bombshell!

PLEASE DON@T LEAVE!

I really do hope that he doesn't leave.

I think Sol Campbell will go to Barcelona.

If Patrick Vieira stays at Arsenal and Campbell joins Arsenal along with Wright, Jeffers and Van Bronkhorst then I think the title win be heading to Highbury.

Adams and Keown can still hold their own but Adams needs rest in between games. We therefore need a top class central defender in order to rotate the three players.

Seaman has also become injury prone of late and Richard Wright would be the ideal signing.

If Vieira stays I am sure he will form a good pairing with GVB. Bronkhorst gets his fair share of goals too which has been lacking from Arsenals central midfield in recent seasons.

Unless Arsenal get Sol and Wright I predict the title will remain at Old Trafford.

So how good is Remini of Real Madrid then? And what do think about Seaman signing for another year?

If arsenal get Sol, and Gerimi from Real Madrid could be bought to take over Dixon we could have a good season not forgetting Richard Wright! Another England Keeper.
