So I thought at first it'd plug in a control port, but MP6 being big with the multiplayer aspect, the four control ports will be full. So I guess it's plugging underneath?
And now I wonder what other games it'll be used for..
I really wish though that Nintendo would release a best of game and get gamers to vote for their top 100 mini games from all the previous Mario Parties. They should do the same with boards as well.
The new games are lacking that one element that made the N64 versions so good.
BUMPER BALLS!
Mario Party isn't that bad, Hudson change things around every year... MP1 was great, MP2 smashed it... 3 was dissapointing, 4 wasn't bad just not great and 5 was fantastic.
Anyway, it's only fair that Nintendo borrow a few ideas of Sony. It's not like Sony have never copied them, infact them coming into the console industry meant they pretty much copied Nintendo. The D-Pad, analog stick, controller rumble etc etc
Those are the only two mic occurences I can think of.
Wasn't a Microphone in console gaming Nintendo's idea in the first place actually?
> Who said this was the 'mystery peripheral'?
Do you think Nintendo are going to try everything until the public actually turn round a go "Ooooo, now that's a new and interesting idea!"
Rather than, "and? We've seen it all before Jimmy Nintendo. Can't you think up your own ideas?"
:)

Funny while you watch your mates fall asleep in boredom as you trickle round the board, watching repetitive, over-long, unfunny animations over, and over, and over, and over..
It's just a new twist on the MP series. Fair play to them. MP in multiplayer is funny.
