The first match was Godfather versus Mideon (with Viscera)
it was a great opener which got the crowd going and you got to see the hoes.
Next was the women's championship match Ivory versus Fabulous Moolah (with Mae young). This was a very funny match because mae young kept getting injured lol.
The next match was fantastic,it was a good house keeping match for the Intercontinental championship Chyna versus Jeff Jarrett (with Miss Kitty). It was a very hardcore match which had lots of weapons including the kitchen sink.
New Age Outlaws versus the Hollys, not such a good match ,but o.k.
One of my favourites was next the Terri Invertational Tournament Ladder match where the winners got 500,000 dollars and Terri as their manager. The Hardy boyz versus Edge and Christian a great match with great use of the ladder.
Bulldog versus the Rock.HHH runs down and smashes the Rock in the ribs and has to be sent to hospital.
Mankind versus Val Venis.Mankind promises to win it for the rock. It's agood match where you see Rocko and Socko and the Testicular.
Four corners elimination match x-pac V kane V bradshaw V farooq.A good solid match.
The final match was good the wwf championship no holds barred match HHH versus Stone cold.A good hardcore match with blood and lots of stiff chair shots.
I have decided on the Hell in the Cell at No way out. This match was between Cactus Jack and triple H. There was many stipulations. If Cactus won- he would go to Wrestlemania and main event it as the WWF champion. If Triple H won, then Cactus’s career would be over and no Wrestlemania.
This was the first Hell in the Cell I had ever witnessed, which added to the excitement. Triple H and Cactus Jack both took many bumps and high risks. Cactus tries everything to get out of the cage and climb out, but the door was locked. He put himself through the cage and found himself outside.
Cactus challenged Triple H to climb the cage- Triple H knocked Cactus down. Triple H was alone at the top, until; Cactus made it back up again.
Cactus set fire to a 2 x 4 wrapped in barbed wire and hit Triple H with it. He was about to Piledrive Triple H through the top of the cell and on to the barbed wire. He was unsuccessful. Triple H back- body dropped Cactus and he landed through the cage, making a huge dent in the bottom of the ring.
It was ages before Cactus got up- only to receive a Pedigree and a pin. Cactus’s career was over.
It was bloody, it was nasty but it was exciting to watch. Both men gave everything they had to compete. Hell in the Cell- HHH and Cactus Jack, will be long remember, for the hue fall Cactus took, on the way to ending a long and memorable career.
The matches in the Rumble were as follows.
Kurt Angle VS Tazz
Kurt Angle UN-defeated streak came to an end when Tazz applied the Tazzmission to win.
Dudley Boys VS The Hardy boys Table match
One of the greatest matches I have ever seen and one of the best of the night. Jeff Hardy hit a Swanton bomb of the top of the entrance way through D-Von and a table to win for the Hardyz.
Miss Rumble 2000
Strange match. Terri, Ivory, BB, Luna, Kat and Jackie all participated in a swimsuit competition. Surprise and eww entry, Mae Young, won!!!
Triple Threat IC championship Chris Jericho (c) VS Chyna (c) VS Hardcore Holly
Cyhna and Chris Jericho cam into this match as join IC champions. The feud was settled when Jericho hit an Isai Moon- sault on Chyna to win.
Tag team championship Acolytes VS New Age Outlaws (c)
Short but sweet. Acolytes were in charge through- out the match, but interference of X Pac cost the Acolytes the tag team championship.
Street fight WWF championship Cactus Jack VS HHH(c)
What a match this was, Street fight, Cactus and HHH. It had blood, weapons, barbed wire and thumb tacts. To my disappointment, Triple H won with a pedigree on the thumb tacts.
Royal Rumble
My first Royal Rumble, and I was not disappointed. I got to see Scotty, Grand Master sexay and Rikishi dance, Bob Backlund and the Rock eliminate the Big show to win.
I really enjoyed the event. I suppose one of the reasons I enjoyed it was because I had never ever seen a Royal Rumble, and as it was my first time, it was new and exciting. I enjoyed the Table match, the street fight and the Rumble. All in all I would give the WWF a 10 out of 10 for this great performance.
The matches in this ppv are brutal with lots of action and the tension between them is immense. In this ppv you will find an amazing hardcore match between norman smiley and terry funk in this match you will find hard hitting moves, lots of weapons and an all out brawl across the whole arena.Sting against vampiro a good match which is finished off by a lead pipe across the ribs.one of my favourite matches on the card hulk hogan against billy kidman a quite bloody match with lots of action. My favourite match and the best match in history ddp against jeff jarrett against david arquette for heavyweight gold in a triple cage match each cage getting smaller each time.the three cages are stacked on top of each other 1st cage was normal with two ladders in,the 2nd cage was a hardcore cage ,the 3rd cage was a guitar cage.it is very brutal with lots of surprises 'positively' kanyon gets chucked off by mike awesome landing back first on to the run way. the ppv is amazing with lots of shocks
the end
My fav PPV has got to be ECWs November To Remember 2000. My mate Ice Blaster told me where to get this so cheers IB.
The first match was Diamond and Swinger Vs Christian York and Joey Matthews in a high risk action tag match.
Next it was Kid Kash Vs C.W. Anderson where Kid Kash pulled of some spectacular aerials where as C.W. Anderson pulled of huge power moves.
Next Danny Doring and Roadkill and Spike Dudley took on Hot Commodity in a miledly entertaining match up.
Then it was former tag partners Chriss Chetti Vs Nova in a loser leaves ECW match which included amazing top rope manouvers.
Then it was one of the most amazing matches it was Balls Mahoney and Chilly Willy Vs Angel and Tony DeVito in a SUPER HARDCORE FLAMING TABLES MATCH! which ended by Balls powerboming Angel through a table which was on FIRE!!!!
Then Rhyno defened his TV title against New Jack in a weapon filled brawl.
It was then the tag team champs The FBI faceing Mikey Whipwreck and Tajiri in a superb wrestling match filled with high impact and great submission moves.
It was now the main event A Double Jeopardy Match. 2 matches in the ring at the same time Jerry Lynn Vs Justin Creddible and The Sandman Vs Steve Corino the 2 seperate matches took place in the ring at the same time the winners of their match then sluged it out in a straight match for the ECW Title. Extremly bloody and entertaining.
And that was my fav PPV.
Ive been watching him wrestle since his debut in ECW and he never really had any good title matches before Cyrus (ECW promoter and powerful co owner) stripped Rob Van Dam of the TV title and then he gave it to Rhyno. Since then Rhyno has had great matches and feuds with the likes of the Sandman (Hardcore Hak in WCW) one inperticuler when he faced the Sandman in a really hardcore match which involved piledrivers on tables and on the entrance stage which ended in Rhyno retaining his TV title when he piledrove the Sandmans wife off the apron through a table and by then Goreing the Sandman and his wife trough a table and he then covered the Sandman to win.
Since then Rhyno won the Hevieghwieght title as well and he was ECWs last TV and Hevieghwieght champion.
Since his join with the WWF he has won the Hardcore title only to lose it to Mike Awseome but nether the less Rhyno has had classic battles with Raven inperticully.
So thats why Rhynos my favourite wrestler.
On WWF War Zone I always end up using the Rock. One day a mate brought round a WWF tape and we watched it. It had an 8 man tag team survivor series match. Rock and Test were the winners. It was a great match.
Next PPV after that was Survivor Series ’99. Main event: Rock Vs Austin Vs HHH, as we all know, Austin got run over, so Big Show took over. McMahon screwed HHH out of the match and the Show won. Three weeks later was Armageddon. Rock and Mankind Vs The Outlaws for the tag titles. I loved this match and Rock and Sock and the match won until Al Snow screwed up.
WWF came to channel 4 next and it was Royal Rumble time. I was looking forward to seeing the Rock in the Rumble. To my delight, he won it too. In March of last year- Rock became Four times WWF champion, only to loose it the following month to HHH, only to loose it the following month, back to The Rock.
He had a long spell as champion and was great to watch. Disappointingly though, he lost to Kurt Angle last October at No Mercy. Since then Rock has had feuds with Rikishi and was a participant in the big Hell in the Cell at Armageddon 2000.
This February Rocky won the Championship belt off Kurt Angle, but disappointingly, he lost at Wrestlmania, for the third time in three years, to Steve Austin.
After that, he was suspended. We haven’t seen Rock for many months, but his rumoured return is expected to happen about the time of Invasion.
One thing I like about The Rock, is his ability to entertain. Every time he gets on the Mic, he makes a crack at some one or something. It is always funny to watch him. He gets the crowd involved in many of his matches and they seem to enjoy watching him.
Another thing The Rock has done, is lifted the WWF to new heights. The WWF often seemed to be at it’s best when The Rock was main venting. Lately we haven’t seen him and WWF has been boring, in many people’s mind. I am eagerly anticipating his return.
The Rock has been a face for a while now; this is why he gets most of the pops. So at his return, expect a huge ovation, for the great one.
So there you are- The Rock, hurry and return!!
