Good Review. Some humour in there too. For some reason, I had forgotten the fact that Kane was the mystery partner.

OK, here is my match by match review of King Of The Ring 2001.

KOTR Semis - Kirk Angel VS Christian

Very good opener. Fast paced throughout, with some cool Shane O Mac interference. Nice to see E+C as faces. Angle managed to suffer a concussion in this match, but he still managed to complete it.


KOTR Semis - FLYMO VS Edge

Not as good as the first, but still entertaining. Nice spot where Edge spears and Rhyno gores. Clean ending, which is always a good thing.

Tag Championship - Spike + Mystery VS Dudleyz

The mystery is Kane, which is very cool. Kane does a WCW style spot where he throws Spike at the Dudleyz. Good match, despite involving Kane.

KOTR Final - Edge VS Angel

Reasonable match. Pity the ending was dirty.

X-Suck VS Jeff 'Bathroom cleaner' Hardy - LH title match

Poor, for a LH match. X-Pacs fault, obviously. Not a very good ad for the LH belt.

Page VS Taker

Waste of time. Made WCW look bad. Really boring.

Street Fight - Shane O mac VS Kirk Angel

Classic. You have to respect Shane for the bumps he takes. And you have to agree that Angle rules considering he wrestled this with a brokan tailbone. Damn good match, although the end bump wasn't as good as it could have been (didn't that big chair at the entrance look very enticeing?)

Main Event - Jericho VS Austin VS All I want for Christmas Is Some Mike Skills Benoit

Good. Exiting throughout. Pleased that Jericho + Benoit didnt team. However, an anticlimactic ending.

Overall, a good show.

Yeah the WWF and WCW and ECW rocks whether its real or not. We wrestling fanz just dont care.

Well I am not a fan of wrestling but I have watched occasionally. I know it is not real but when it I do watch it is entertaining and that is the sole reason that it is made for. Well excluding money. But people watch it to entertain themselves and if they enjoy it then that is all that matters.

If there is one thing that annoys me about people who don't watch the WWF or who hate it, is the fact that they are ask me and others why we watch it. They say that it is pointless and a waste of time and that it is 'of course', NOT REAL. I have no idea how many times people have said that. The reason why this annoys me is because I know that it isn't real and the fact that if that bothered me, I surely wouldn't watch it. But I love watching it as it is very entertaining. Is there anyone else here who has come across the same situation?
