No way! nintendo are responsible for some of the best gaming soundtracks ever. NOM recently gave away the SSBM soundtrack and the Zelda through the ages cd away as freebies and they were incredibly popular. smash bros has THE catchiest tunes ever heard on a game. And classic games such as donkey kong country, super mario world, super mario bros two, link to the past and super metroid have all had brilliantly original soundtracks!
I really dont see what grounds you have to make such a sweeping statement like that...

Wind Waker was class. It could have been longer and less tedious (collecting the lifeforce bits) Also does anyone else think the game soundtracks for nintendo games are crap? They could have made the music a bit better, and less amateur. Mario Kart was even worse, I think sound has a very big influence on the immersive side to playin games.
