you what?
OOT was NEVER overrated, your theory on FF7, I don't know where you got the idea about OOT being overrated.
How wrong you are!

Then get glasses.
Too many dull and repetitive sections.

You say that trekking got boring in OOT, what about blinking random battles in FF7??? *yawn* I love both games to bits, but they're different types of games really, both better in different ways.

well I doubt that would have been your opinion when it had first came out, it was the first ever 3D zelda and was so much of a hit because of that, and that then graphics usually meant a lot in many people's minds. but this is the time when we can creae games like zelda and play them anywhere and anytime due to advancing portable technology, so of course it doesn't look or feel absolutely great now because we've experienced so much better that we get to picky about what they used to be like.
There is no way Final Fantasy beats the Zelda series, for one the Zelda series is far more accessable, the game is more fluid and runs faster than any RPG at that matter.
The graphics are too dark??? What couldn't you see the game??? Mate I think you need glasses, the game was filled with greens and blues, and the sunset over Hyrule was one of the most beautiful graphical effects of the last generation.
The game wasn't overrated, almost everyone loved it, it was huge, sprawling and with hundreds of things to do. The fishing game was uber popular and it was a mere small segment of the game.
Ocarina of Time introduced people to a world never experienced before, it didn't feel unfinished, it felt packed to the rafters. A Nintendo classic indeed.
As for "trecking around on a horse" that is probably the most laughable criticism ever.
Final Fantasy 7 is way better than OOT. Ocarina Of Time just got really boring after a while, having to treck around on a crappy horse that didnt have the right control or anything. It just didnt seem much of a challenge, and the graphics were too dull, and there wasnt that "spark" in my mind. I dont know whether its just me who feels like this, but OOT is just an average game, it could have been so much better. A Link To The PAst was a much more polished game.
> Can Ocarina of time be Defeated?
Yes, hold it under a lighter.
