With Halo, Project Gotham Racing and Grabbed by the Gholies.

It's a bloody chunky thing isn't it.

I haven't got LIVE yet but I might not, I'm not entirely sure this is a good purchase. I've played all 3 games a bit but I keep going back to Second Sight on the Gamecube.

As a Gamecube owner I do miss a really good First Person shooter, and as great as Timesplitters is the idea of owning Halo was something I couldn't resist. I also miss out on realistic racing games as a Gamecube owner.

The sad thing is, now I've played 2 games that are the top of their genre I now feel slightly empty.

For starters Project Gotham is a good racing title but I've never really been able to enjoy these sort of games.

Grabbed by the Gholies is as crap as I remember.

I played Halo for a bit but I've come to realise that this is just another FPS. And one that doesn't have the depth of Perfect Dark either. It is the finest all round FPS of this generation but it doesn't do anything special at all. In fact at times I felt the urge to play Metroid Prime, something I haven't done in an age.

Anyway enough about the criticism, I'm sure I'll get into all of the above games and I'm sure I'll enjoy Blinx, The Suffering, Jet Set Radio: Future and whatever else my mate plans to lend me.

The console has 3 weeks to impress or it goes back. Mainly because of my 30 day no quibble return policy.

It just gets everywhere I tell you.

Had to leave, we ended up calling a plumber in every so often to un-block the drains.

Okay fair enough, I'm not getting into "I'm a bigger fan than you" thing.

I owned a NES but I wasn't a Nintendo fan then, I just had one amongst other things.

I only became dedicated to Nintendo after Donkey Kong on the SNES.

Tsk, if you want to play the numbers game... I've liked them since I had a first go on the NES... I was around 5 then... and now I'm nearly 20. But of course, not everyone changes. I think mattribute likes Nintendo wholeheartedly. And I still have a quick bash at Smash Bros Melee when I'm REALLY bored (though this was a few months ago).

Oh, yes, you are the most vocal of supporters... doesn't mean you're the most dedicated.

Note: Conker used to be one of these chirpy characters..

Got Jet Set Radio: Future, I may have been looking back through rose tinted glasses with the original but I enjoyed that more. Still Second Sight has been brushed aside for the time being.

I finished Dead or Alive again, I love this franchise.

Didn't really play Halo today.
