Set one year after AC, 3 years after FF7.

And .... oh yes, Vincent is the main character.
Score.

Tactics is done, Front Mission 4 is around halfway done, only done about 2 hours of Star Ocean 3 and just started PB. Probably finish FM4 first then really get into PB and then start properly on SO3. I was thinking of going through star ocean 2 on my psx before playing it again though

Heh, this is a prime example of why i can't understand people complaing about lack of quality games on the PS2. They're there if you import them :-D

Touch of Buddhism in there then.

Mind you, nearly every RPG ive played has some connection with a God.

Good luck getting through those games. What a nightmare that must be. I tend to play only one then move on. Simpler. Keep going with Phantom Brave though, really good game if you pay attention to it.

Avatar Tuner, latest in the Shin Megami series.

It's a sci-fi turn based RPG about 4 characters trying to reach this magical world called Nirvana where only true champions can enter. It has a interesting sounding combat quirk where you can 'devour' enemies to gain their skills and what not. Kind of like the draw system in FF8 i suppose. Not heard much else about it actually. Been too busy with La Pucelle Tactics, Star Ocean 3, Front Mission 4 and now Phantom Brave

Well with the item world and how far you can max out the stats Disgaea is the king of longevity. Heard that PB only lets you go up to level 9999 and there's no New game+ plus mode either. Is that true?

Just finished that, was thinking of making a topic but remembered its only you that would reply to it.

Yeah, anyway really enjoyed it. Better Storyline than Disgaea i thought but Disgaea has more replay value. You'll see what i mean in the end.
