Hello there.

Me and my chum Venombyte were just chatting about the closure of the last story. We've come to the conclusion that we need more writers... and since there are a lot more people on here than there were half a year ago, I think it's time to try and encourage more people to write.

So, we've come up with the idea of a short story competition... it's a nice little idea, that should get more people writing, so we have a good idea of their talents.

This also applies to the CURRENT writers. I.E. Me, Pb, Meka, Ant... so on. You can write a story too.

If you're interested in this, please state so below/above, so I've got a good idea of figures. Then... I'll think of what you can write about. :0)

This program I use should allow wav files to be played along side the actual animation... this will then be recorded into a avi file...

In other words: Huge file.

I think it's time to invest in a cd writer...

yep. concise.

We need to have a program that can show the animations and play the background music and dialogue (MP3 probably, WAVs are so big in size) at the same time, also making them easy to sychronize.

Any budding programmers out there?

I can put all the voice acting together with effects (as in the short except from the Blade Runner story, still available on Napster when anyone that has it is on, I believe)

I love it when a plan comes together, even if it was Grix's!

;-)

Actually, I think it means to make them more concise...

That really looks good Venombyte, thanks for that...

...But either I work for someone that makes me do what they want, giving me no say in what happens, or I continue on with my Fog Stories project, and get the same amount of experience, as well as being my own boss.

Well, I'm a kinda employee of Pb though. If he wants something done, I do it. Although he hasn't actually asked me to do anything yet.

Hmmm.

If anyone wants to help with this, please don't be afraid to ask. Voice acting would be cool, but you can do graphics, storyboards, anything you want. Some backgrounds to some of the scenes would be great.

...And what does abridge mean? *I would smile if I could*

I think we ought to start with the star wars one. Just for old times sake!

Perhaps we could re-edit the stories, abridge them, otherwise we'd never get it all done!

You know, I know a games company lookoing for someone with 3D Studio Max skills for a particular project. Bismarck Entertainment. It would be unpaid work, naturally... but you should check it out anyway.

You'll need to get those voices done Pb, so I can get a move on with the lip sync, I might just make the mouths open and close actually, much easier... what story do you want to do first?

and if by some miracle it all comes together, I'm working on the soundtrack, with voices, for all the stories.

Slowly.

If anyone wishes to contribute to their own voice or others from the stories, catch me at the usual places.

That, is why you fail.

And also why you're fired.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
