The winner was - ICE BLASTER.
Here's a chance for WWF fans to win an Extra Gameaday Prize, but it won't be eeeeesy.
Your task is to work out what WWF-related products we do sell, what we should sell, and how we should sell them.
The best single post on this subject will win. However, you can have several attempts, you CAN pinch other people's ideas, and you CAN repeat things from your previous messages.
BUT - we will be taking into account just who suggested what first when we judge the competition. So you will score more points if you suggest something first.
At precisely 10 am on Monday July 8th, the competition will be closed. That gives you a whole month to start listing your ideas.
The way to approach this is to list your ideas as they come to you in individual posts, and then wait for nearer the end of the competition and repeat them (and some pinched from others) in one final message.
HOW WE SHOULD SELL THEM, is an important part of this. You can suggest promotions or make up catchphrases for banners or whatever.
Good luck, and don't fight over it.
Your task is to work out what WWF-related products >>we do sell<<
ok, you sell
n64-no mercy
psx-smackdown 2
ps2-smackdown 3 (pre orders, ive ordered mine!!!)
dreamcast-royal rumble
n64-warzone
dreamcast-big deal pack (4games, 1 is wwf attitude)
gameboy-wwf betrayal (pre orders)
psx-smack down
psx-attitude
books:royal rumble guide
smackdown 1&2 quides
SR only sells 3 books which are all guides. get autobiographys and other wwf related books you can find. no reading books, nobody likes them. reading is boring.
i cant say sell more games. you already have all the games and pre-orders, keep it up. and drop prices on older games. if there is a close price margin people ofcoarse will go for the newer version.
there is not alot you sell for wwf fans and i can see that you need more items. is this topic just to see whos the best poster or does SR really want to sell more stuff?
nobody copy my idea.
alot of wwf merchandise is in clouthes, DONT sel clouthing!!!! it would just cause problems because people will return them. just sell things like caps, dog tags and accesories.
as for game/console bundles make one for every console. put in the latest game and an extra cotroller. i like the idea of your ps2 bundle with summoner. have the same deal(+ extra pad) with smackdown 3 instead!!!
> what about selling all the wreslemanias videos in a big block at a
> cheap price
u could put a picture @ the end of each video and when there in the right order they make some kid of wrestlmania kind of tribute with diferent moments in
> What You should do is sell a WWF PS2 pack, maybe when SmackDown3
> comes out around september, it could consist of PS2, Remote, SD1 and
> sd2 for PSOne, Smackdown just bring it for PS2, a WWF memory Card
> and WWF wrestlemania 2001 DVD for about £350 you could market
> it using slogans like this on an animated banner.
" A WWF
> Fans Dream "
" Special Reserve Smell What THQ are
> Cooking! "
and other cheesy phrases.
other things you
> could do is, sell a WWF Classic Games pack which would include,
> Warzone, Attitude, In Your House, SmackDown 1 and Wrestlemania
> Arcade for Psone for like £30 using the same marketing idea as
> above.
You could have a pack which has Royal Rumble and WWF
> Attitude (DC) with a Dreamcast and sell it for £130.
you
> should market them on the Special Reserve Sites, the shops, and the
> magazine you should also get WWF Gaming Sites to advertise too, im
> sure they would especially mine which is
> http://www.smackdown3.net.
then you could also do some DVD deals
> like a set of this years DVDs for £70 or something like that.
