Metal/Heavy Metal/Industrial/Darkwave/Whatever other crappy genre the media has lazily labelled a group of bands with.
Punk/Heavier Pop can be included too if you feel like mentioning some stuff that's not quite 'metal'.
So, any new stuff out there that's worth a listen?

The only stable member of Death was Chuck Schuldiner who did vocals and guitar. The other members changed every few albums. Of course he did always have another guitarist with him but Jeff Waters doesn't ring a bell. Though Chuck was nothing short of AWESOMENESS and some of their later stuff is just crazy
I <3 Death
Pick up Leprosy, Symbolic and Sounds Of Perseverance too.
In that order. Oh and Human. Yeah.

Hehe, that solo he plays is incredible, and his ridiculous facial expressions only add to it.

I agree.
I just bought a CD yesterday by a late 80's thrash/death metal band called 'Death'. This stuff was about as extreme as you could get in 1987. Anyone heard? (the album is cheerfully titled 'Scream Bloody Gore'.)
