Well that was fun! Tiring, but fun! Haven't done anything like that since 2003 when I watched the entire first season of 24 in one day with a group of friends. This saturday, the total running time was less (just 12.5 hours), but the challenge was still there. Having said that, it was so enjoyable that the time just flew by. After a sticky start with I and II, things got going and by the end, it really felt worthwhile.

Has anybody else watched all 6 Star Wars films back to back?

I've never actually watch any of them all the way through. Started but gave up after an hour or so for some reason.

Ive done it with Back to the Future and Alien. When I was about 14 I had a group of mates who all loved films and we'd rent about 5 or so and stay up all night watching them then sleep all day afterwards. Does that count?

You'd need a bedpan, that's for sure.

Something else not to try - the LOTR trilogy.

The most I've managed in one sitting is all the Back to the Future films and another time I managed all 3 American Pie films. Don't think I could manage 6 though!

I'd sooner castrate myself with a rusty carving knife.
