Well that was fun! Tiring, but fun! Haven't done anything like that since 2003 when I watched the entire first season of 24 in one day with a group of friends. This saturday, the total running time was less (just 12.5 hours), but the challenge was still there. Having said that, it was so enjoyable that the time just flew by. After a sticky start with I and II, things got going and by the end, it really felt worthwhile.

Has anybody else watched all 6 Star Wars films back to back?

Those are the words of a man who can't 'do it'.

I think watching any more than around 4 hours telly/DVD at a time is going a bit far. Using up an entire day just to make a point that you can do it, seems daft.

That said I've gone for long stints watching documentaries when hung over on sundays, and last night I watched the whole second series of Spaced before falling asleep.

All of the James Bond films back to back. I'll give you a medal if you succeed.

If you want a challenge, try the Heimat trilogy back to back.

But the brilliance of both are in no way equal.

The books are fantastic pieces of literature.

The films are fantastic pieces of visual entertainment.

End.

I'd like to watch all the Star Wars films back to back. Tried to do the LOTR extended editions and resorted to watching one a day.

Becomes my annual Christmas treat.

The LotR films are by no means "naff" ... silly boy.

It's because they're naff.
