Third in the table, equal on points wiith Tottenham in second and they have a game in hand. Their next two league games are Fulham and Portsmouth and so you'd expect them to pick up points there. Things really couldn't be much better could they?

Wel, starting from November 19th they have an evil run of Premiership games starting with Arsenal, then Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Charlton, and Man City. Ouch.

It doesn't look like Wigan will be relegated but when you see those games that they have coming up, you can't see them maintaining their current form. Oh well, not every newly promoted team can say they've been ahead of Man U in the table after 9 games.

If they do somehow get Europe next season hopefully they will take note of what happened to Ipswich.

If recent history is anything to go by, Wigan will finish in the European spots next year. I wouldn't be too surprised if it did.

I don't think they'll get relegated after this start and will finish mid table which will be a great achievement.

You underestimate how clueless our manager is about the Premiership.

I see them finishing mid-table, which would be a pretty damn good result for them.

Charlton have already beaten them once this season and Liverpool will have Gerrard then. They could get a point off Arsenal and they have a chance against Man City and Spurs but to be honest I expect they'll probably lose the others. However, there's no shame in losing Chelsea or Man U.
