I've heard through the grapevine that SR will be closing some of their shops. Anyone else heard this? I was going to their Norwich shop at the weekend while staying friends.

There is no one working for SR anymore. That's why.

"Don't think so!"

"I have been a member for years..."

"You should kick your friend's ass! He's lying!"

*shakes head* poor Twain, what a terrible way for you to find out and you were so harsh with your words when it was true all along. RIP Norwich.

I wonder why no staffies commented though.

Well the one in Bas Vegas will probably do ok, so I'll be surprised if that closes. Problem with that shop is that the stock quantity seems to suck. I, as well as friends have gone there to buy a game only to find it isn't in stock.

Guess that might improve if those other shops are closing though.

That's a shcoker I'd not heard anything about this until I read this thread. Was only at the Stapleford shop a few weeks back and I didn't notice any signs saying it was closing down.

So they closed some stores and gave up on that magazine of theirs that they spent so much time doing each month yet hardly anyone read or only spent 10 seconds flicking through. How many shops do they have left?

I guess things are pretty rough for them at the moment, I guess they wont be donating to any childrens charities this christmas (not like they did before but I was hoping they might this year).

Yep.

Might promote Crossbob up to Operation "Human Shield".
