Wahey, the lovely little game is now sitting in its oversized box besides my computer.

Is it just me or did this game sorta come out without a bang? I mean Animal Crossing got a bigger reception prior to release than this classic title.

I haven't seen one advert, most magazines are plastering Paper Mario or Donkey Konga on their covers and most Nintendo of Europe stuff is far more interested in last weeks GBA SP price drop and Pokemon release.

Poor Pikmin 2, I hope it won't effect the sales too much.

Yes it be my first time. I think I got the Emporer/Empress thing mixed up when I was talking to you about it yesterday, but anyhoo this is the real deal, the evil final boss from the first game.

I shall try chucking them at his cheeks, I always got my herd to attack his feet and legs. Ta for the tip.

WS, I'm intrigued, care to share more information?

I beat him using a single white pikmin.

There is actually a special way to defeat each boss, and the genius of the game design meant it wasn't until my second or third encounter with a boss that I realised how simple it could be.

Is it the first time you have seen him? I'm not sure how many times you meet him in the game but I threw Pikmin at his slarvoury cheeks and it finished him off pretty quick.

I'm actually stuck for the first time in the game :( Dear Emporer Bulblax.. I've got 65ish Pikmin on me at the end of quite a long cave and I really don't want to have to quit.

Trouble is he jumps without warning and squashes my herd flat before I can hardly dent his health. I know feeding him albino Pikmin takes some health off, but I ain't got enough to kill him.

Suggestions anyone?

Completely paid off my debt, after just 9 short hours *cough* :-D

Just keeps getting better though. Am I the only one to see the leaf bulborbs so far? I love those little guys so much. I almost cried when 3 were eaten by a big spotty thing. That third cave on the first area is seriously horrible. I got to the boss and all those evil goo blokes killed my Pikmin.

So I ran out of Pikmin and had to turn my Cube off.

Pikmin really is great. :-D
