"Just got Pikmin 2"

Wahey, the lovely little game is now sitting in its oversized box besides my computer.

Is it just me or did this game sorta come out without a bang? I mean Animal Crossing got a bigger reception prior to release than this classic title.

I haven't seen one advert, most magazines are plastering Paper Mario or Donkey Konga on their covers and most Nintendo of Europe stuff is far more interested in last weeks GBA SP price drop and Pokemon release.

Poor Pikmin 2, I hope it won't effect the sales too much.

I have just two pieces left to complete it absolutely.


The final boss to get Louie back is very annoying.

There's at least as much treasure again to get. It'll keep me going for a long while ^_^

I want to unlock Co-Op but haven't found the ticket to do so. :(

Just completed Pikmin 2 there. I got my final treasure pieces from that massive worm thing in the Frontier Cavern, and lost all but one of my reds in the process. Strangely, that was the first time I'd entered that cave - I went in with 100 Pikmin (40 of which were red) and came out with 61 Pikmin (1 of which was red). So quite a successful mission then, seeing as I have over 300 reds in reserve anyway. Yey me.

The ending is pretty good, and I thought the game was going to be finished, but you get the chance to go back and get more treasure, this time accompanied by your boss and not by Louie. Random, but cool.

Only took me 14 hours in total to complete, but I'm going to continue and try and fully complete the game, which should take a lot more time. Plus I'll probably replay it some point next year in full again, as it really is a top game. Nintendo = Gods.

Pity us Brits never get them over here...

I haven't had time to play much of this. But it will be done before I start properly playing Donkey Konga and FIFA 2005.

I wish I had more time for this.

PES4 is sort of taking up all my time just now with it's incredibleness.

Ah well.
