First couple of episodes were great though.

I hope there's a good reason for it all in the second series though.
Even if you do, don't bother renting the DVD set, even if it is in the bargain bin when you come out - everything that happens has been built over form the past episodes, and there weren't any twists at all, with the crappest anti climatic ending for ages.

Why?
Court tomorrow. fun.

The hobbit and a moth saved his life.
Well the latest episode in E4 (there will be no spoilers mind) is really exciting and progresses the story. It is also kinda funny.
What do i think? It's hardly the best series on the planet, it is no 24 but it is enjoyable and exciting at times.
There does need to be some "mystical force" behind this... explained by Lock (?) as "the heart of the island". That "monster", is what I believe to be the reason for their being. They were saved pretty much to work through their demons on an island.
I predict they will escape the island in a later series... all wiser... stronger and more important feeling. And then when they try and return to it, it was never there. A bit like Briggerdoon (or what ever it is)... that valley which only appears once ever 1000 years.
A mystical island that helps people to grow and improve as human beings. But of course never really existed at all... or did it?
