I don't think she did. She's sometimes around, like at a function, but we never get to see her. I bet she's twenty years his junior and a bit of a floozy.

Well yeah, I know what you mean. The first series was good, but subsequent ones have gone a bit silly in places.

Monk is always the same.

"Ooh, I can't hold this tissue"
"But the killer's address is on the back"
"Oo-er, argh"
"Well done, Monk, you used your gloves"

No one quite like Columbo.

And Monk is pretty good - he with the compulsive disorders that always help him to solve the crime.
