Actually, most of our recent wars have had absolutely nothing to do with religion, and banning all religions is showing just as much narrow-mindedness as these extremists, seeking to dictate how people should live their lives.

An everyday phrase, often used by many:-

"Money is the root of all evil".

Be that as it may, religion is the cause of most of our recent wars. My solution would be to ban all religions completely. Then we'd have no religious extremists to war with each other/commit atrocities and the like.

Well, they're designed for Christians to give to their non-Christian friends. It's not simply the opinion that Christianity is right, it's the lengths they go to convince you, and there is a little bit of scaremongering going on.

Well no, because there are a billion interpretations. Some Christians like my family and Light's missus don't take the whole "burn in hell" so literally as it doesn't sound quite right coming from the "God who is love".

But I guess you're right in a lot of ways.
By disrespecting their beliefs I'm pretty much sinking to the same level.

I think he was 90ft tall, but instead of aging like we do now, he just gradually got smaller and smaller until his body was less 'efficient'.

And it wasn't exactly normal practice to have girls as young as 6-9 that long ago.

It was common practice to marry them off at 12ish or once they were ready to breed, if you know what I mean :-).
