HMMMMM.
- Kompany (has a different name when unedited in the Anderlecht team, but his name is correct in Belgium) - young Belgian central defender, who I believe can also play in defensive midfield. Has good stats as well, and as he's young they also improve.
- Martins - 20-year-old attacker from Nigeria who plays for Inter. 99 speed, acceleration and 97 agility at the beginning of the game, he can quickly become a play who scores for fun. Might not come to your club if you're not a big name, yet, though, as he is a regular at Inter.
- Fabregas (known as Cesc at Arsenal) - 17/18-year-old Spaniard who has fairly good stats, and improves quicker than any other player I've seen so far. Plays in central and attacking midfield, and by the time he's 22/23, he'll have stats to rival Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane. Might be quite expensive considering his stats, but trust me, they improve a lot.
Also, Japanese players such as Nakata (all midfield positions), Ono (all midfield positions), Inamoto (all midfield positions except attacking mid I think) and Santos (left back) are worth picking up as their stats are much better than their cheap price will suggest. A lot of the South Korean players are well worth investing in as well, particularly Lee Chun Soo (left back/midfielder), Park Ji Sung (defensive/attacking midfield), Ahn Yung Hwan (centre forward) and Cha Du Ri (right winger). These players are all guarenteed to sign for you if you offer them the contract they desire, and they come at very cheap prices. Also, all the players I've listed are under 28, so even the oldest have a couple more seasons of developing left in them.
Also, pick up Freddy Adu and Robinho (both strikers, with Robinho also a winger) on frees from the unbelonging player list, as they'll develop into top players by the time they're 25.
One thing that does annoy me though is my players and their ability to trip up every second, it gets annoying just as i'm on a break for a defender to get within spitting distance and then my player to stumble thus losing the ball. Whether it's to get you to pass more i don't know but it's flippin' annoying
You might not be able to access the stars feature if you're playing on a high difficulty level, but by then you should have realised that you can't just sign Adriano when you're a team that's in Division 2.
My advice is go for some of the Japanese or South Korean players, who are very cheap, and will pretty much definitely sign. Also, Dagaki (Kaebi when edited) from Iran develops greatly, as does Kompany from Belgium/Anderlecht - his name is also different in the Anderlecht team when un-edited. Martins is good as well, although he might not sign until your club's reputation improves.

Ah you're just jealous because xbox features live online.
I'll give PES4 a few more weeks as i may just need more time to adjust as i quite literally must have played 100s of hours on PES3. Although i'm already on my 4th season in master league...
I dont particulary care for realism, i just want an enjoyable game. Its not so bad against the computer, but playing against someone else just seems to be lacking in enjoyment on this game.
