I think they do in the mid-season negotiations as well.

Yeah, what Afro said.

I've noticed on the Gamefaqs PES4 forum that there are soooo many complaints, I wish I was registered so I could tell them how picky they are.

It's the biggest disappointment because play is halted for a fraction of a second when it maybe shouldn't be? You give no other reasons so I assume this is your only problem with the game?

I find it incredibly difficult to believe that you can sit back on that stupid statement with such a lack of argument. PES4 is quite easily the best football game Konami have ever made, and I'm including the quite incredible ISS98 on the N64 in that statement. The fluidity in passing and player movement is fantastic, crossing has been vastly improved, the headering system is really innovative and useful once you get used to it, and tackling on the whole is a lot better as well, with stupid refereeing decisions now a rarity.

As well as this, Konami have doubled the number of teams, got full licenses for three leagues, and have given the Master League even more depth with a player growth system. While the number of teams and licensing is not quite up to the standards of FIFA yet, PES4 more than makes up for that by being such a genuinely excellent football game - it's an improvement on PES3, which was the best of the PES series, and I really fail to see how people are having so many problems with this game.

I am thinking about returning this to the store I bought it and getting the Xbox version when that gets released.

I have been playing Konami TYOs games since Winning Eleven 4 and can safely say this one is the biggest disappointment. The slowdown is horrendous. Apparently the Xbox game is more difficult to play because of the pad, but for Xbox Live play and none of the very bad slow down, it's going to be worth getting used to.
