Do you mean a dipping volley?

Go into Situation Training and into the Shot section, and choose one of the options (I forget which). It should explain how to pull it off quite well. I've now mastered the technique of doing it, but obviously depending on the players' I use stats, not all are very accurate...

In Ben Arfa's second game for me (when he was shockingly bad), I hit a wonderful dipping volley, nailed the timing perfectly.

Went out for a throw-in...

I'd only attempt it with the very best or if you're sure you haeva lot of time and no deflections. If when on a break, the goaly comes out and clears to your OMF it's perfect, as it basically looks stunning, and has all the benefits of a powerful thirty yard drive and a delicate chip.

Well worth mastering.

If you're talking about just normal dip on a shot, I find if I try this it's just not powerful enough to beat the keeper, and unless I'm very lucky, it can look like a floating cross which the keepers will usually gather.

Again this is using crappy ML player though, so Gerrard or Cisse or somone with high shot power can probably pull it off nicely.

AfroJoe, i've heard you talking about the improved dip in the shots on this game.

To pull off these shots is it somthing to do with R2? Played around in training for a bit but not sure how to do it right. Pulled off a few sweet ones but few and far between.

I think im right in saying, your going to have to buy your player in the transfer window. If you go to search by team, there should be an option to to view the player you made.

Also...if your created player has amazing stats...he will want amazing wages and wont be cheap.

A very informative thread. Was playing the game at length yesterday, the link to winning-eleven.com is ideal for changing all the wrong names around - I'll be making full use of it ;)

Loving the modifications to the master league, except for the required training part of it - seems like a pointless exercise... (pun intended) ;)

Can you answer a couple of questions?

Q1. If I have already started ML and want to create a player so that hes in my team what do I do? I created a player but it wont let me register him to my team. (I made an original team when starting ML, is that why?)

Q2. Did anyone see my post about my problem with Max Drive and GTA? Have a look down the page (or on the previous page) because im still stuck.

Many thanks.

Likewise with my beloved gooners. A mate actually said, "Why do they just have sponsorship for Arsenal?". So I was pretty happy.

I wouldn't know that.

I think I've put up the wrong stadium name, because I've already got Kashima.

Knew it! Like you ortega, thought it might be Delle Alpi.

I need to go play it again to get the other stadium.

Im having trouble myself trying to make a strip with blue and white stripes for my Sheff Wed team. I could do it on the last one, havent been able to yet on this. So at the moment im stuck with a Blackburn esque type kit.

I made a pretty galant attempt at the Owls badge though, was impressed with that.
