I done halfway line free kick on the last game but havnt done it on this one yet.

Free kicks on the edge of the box seem alot easier than PES3, but i'm finding it really hard scoring long range ones. On the last one i could score pretty much more than 50% of the time from a decent range.

Worst scenrio of the game screwing me over was in a game where it was 0-0 and into injury time...I knew there wernt much time left so i played a through ball quickly and it went straight into Recoba's path...and he was past the last defender. I begged for the whistle not to go and it didnt!...But as Recoba closed in on the penalty area the bloody ref blew the whistle for full time :(

Not scored from the half way line yet, but with my new free kick wonderkid, im finding im getting closer and closer to scoring free kicks from 40/45 yards. Either the keeper manages to just get a touch on it, or I smack the corner of the upright. I will get it soon!

I can!

Flukey goal, Ferdinand got in the keepers way (so he flailed to the ground :P), and the ball floated in.

So looking forward to getting home tommorow - PES4 and GTA:SA awaits...

Just a choice of which one to play.

Also, any tips on how to write GCSE coursework? And write it good? I have, like, a 3-5 page essay on a play, which I've done a page and a half on, and a 3 page essay on Degas' style.

Heeelp, I wanna play PES!

-Ed. I see you like Green Wing, Clazon. Top man :P.

Damn. But mine was better. Owusu-Abeyie freekick on half way. Goes for the old perfect cross with O, R1, and curve. The ball floats over attacking mans head and hits far post and drops into goal. Keeper stands like a statue.

Don't remind me. I too have plenty of work to divert me from PES, etc.

You have felt only half of my anger at freak happenings.

When playing at my friends, someone almost had to straightjacket me, because the game was screwing me over imensely.

I ask you, HOW can anyone hit the same post on 4 consecutive shots fractions of seconds apart and then conclude it by missing a half open goal from 1/2 a yard out. That was not the only happening I hasten to add.

PS> How many of you can say that you've scored a freekick from the halfway?

HINT: I can.

Im finding 5 stars harder than I thought I would. Might be down to the fact im playing 3 young players who dont have the best tech stats, and the team work ability isnt too high, so im not cutting through teams as easy as i was doing before. Hopefully should be better when they start to develop more. Its making the game frustrating though...had to stop myself throwing the control pad down 3 times after hitting the post in the 90th minute when the score is 1-1. Its not good for my health...

next to regulate condition.

click on it, then click on player, and you'll see a graph sort of thingy for each player. The red line shows how the players stats will increase/decrease over time.

Press R1 while looking at it and you'll get a wider version which shows you the age as well.

according to it Ronaldo's stats wont start decreasing until he is almost 40!

Experience points is basically fulfilling thier potential. You can look at how far along they are on thier potential by looking at the development sheet. Certain players start declining as they reach 30 but Ronaldo's (Brazil) stats are still increasing for me even though he's into his 30's now! although my Totti and Henry are very much in decline.

Oh yeah. How does conditioning/training/rest work?

Also, what dictates how many experience points players get? It certainly isn't the performance they have and they all appear to be second string players.
