The problem with having so much work involving computers is that I go on the computer ready to work and then I think, "I'll just have a quick look on SR" or, "I'll just have quick couple of rounds of poker." Then I never actually do the work. It's happening right now.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll get away with it, I always do.
That's the sort of sentence that I know I'll regret saying.
The one thing I hate about SR is the way it literally steals hours. One minute it's 7 and the next thing I know it's about 11.
I really would do it now, if you're going to, or you won't be doing it at all.
Anywhom, it turns out I was the only one who actually did an English essay in my group. It's good that I've got it done but not so good that I spent a portion of my holiday time (a few hours) bothering to do the work when I could have done it after school.
But then I always postpone work to the last possible minute, such as the evening before it's due. As my English coursework's going so well I wouldn't want to rush it.
> I'd rather not, in a way I like having an excuse not to work.
No offence but if that's so why bother making the topic? I know exactly where you're coming from as I did it myself all the way through school. At the end of the day it's up to you whether you're going to do the work or not and voicing concern about it doesn't justify that. However if you're not willing to unplug the modem then obviously you don't really want to do it, and would probably just plug it back in after 10 mins making it a pointless exercise.
I'll just wake up at 5 in the morning and do it while there's no on online to talk to.
