It's 9pm and I'm back at school tomorrow. So far, out of my holiday homework (which included re-doing pretty much the entire analysis and design stages for long course ICT) I have only managed to read a short story for English. I'm in deep poop.

The problem with having so much work involving computers is that I go on the computer ready to work and then I think, "I'll just have a quick look on SR" or, "I'll just have quick couple of rounds of poker." Then I never actually do the work. It's happening right now.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll get away with it, I always do.

That's the sort of sentence that I know I'll regret saying.

I see. Well, I don't but I can't be bothered with it now. School doesn't start until 10am tomorrow, I have time. Won't take long will it?

The completed proposal means that you must have finished the situation for your product. I did RMT and that simply meant you had to have the Need, Brief and Problem thing done (the initial page of your project) To add to it make the thing far more detailed, describe the aesthetics of the product and the market group.

I did D&T a year early and got a B. Admittedly it isn't as high as I'd hoped or had been predicted but it's an alright grade all the same. I'm pleased to have got it out the way as the project was some fifty hours work.

No, you wouldn't. His lessons are so fast paced that you can't keep up and he has this evil system of marking people at the end of each lesson based on how much they contributed during class discussions.

He also likes making crappy jokes like his little piece about the RSPCV, the Royal Society for the Protection from Cruelty to Verbs. *cries*

I need help. Design homework:

- text for model board
- one completed proposal

I should make more detailed notes, I have no idea what that means.

I'd rather be taught by a genius than a retard to be honest, some of the teachers are my school were laughable and it confused me how any of them were trained to teach. Desperate times is no excuse. I can see how it would be a bit daunting though.

I am going into year 11. If the timetable is the same as last year (which it can't be for various reasons) then I'd be safe for tomorrow. i've given up on the design, I found that I'd done most of it before we broke up for the holidays anyway so it doesn't matter.

I'm just glad I dropped Geography, they had some huge assignment to do over the summer.

I'm dreading French though, I truly despise it. Our teacher is a genius and expects everybody else to be. He even wrote our text book!

If you rush it then it's going to suck ass. Stop procrastinating and get it done, then come back here and waste hours and hours talking to strangers. :D

If you're going into Year 11 (which you're probably not) then base the timetable around what you had last year.

It's like looking in a mirror this topic. When I was younger it was MSN, then for a while it was this very forum, then it became online games, IRC and there associated forums, during my A levels it was more or less a combination of everything and also the addition of a partner in my life. I'll be off to university at the end of this month and I'm hoping that I can reach a good balance of socialising and using my computer whilst still maintaining a good level of study. What I do know by now is that if I haven't done the work by the night before it won't ever be of the quality I know I can produce. I'm sure you know that, but it's something I wish I had paid attention to earlier and actually put that effort into setting aside time for work even in the holidays.

I think I'll risk the IT and just pray that I don't have it tomorrow. I'll do the design work though, because it's easy.
