I know that maths doesnt show that you know all them, but surely it shows a logical train of thought, and ability to process information in a correct manner? Probably a couple more things, but I can't really think in this state...

I apparently got 0/100 in a piece of coursework, which put me on a B! Me! A B! sick. So I rang the school and they tell me that a few people had the same thing and that the exam board were reprocessing the results and faxing them through. 96/100. Yer ; ]

Exactly.
Anyways, a lot of degrees today aren't specfic. My only job prospect isn't just a 'History teacher' like everyone thinks. Most 'useless' degrees show that you are capable of doing a certain level of work. Plus, I'm applying to some Postgraduate stuff which means I can get some stuff published.

Who would you have to talk to if you have been screwed by your results? Would it be like your head of year or would you write to the exam board?

I'm at University because I don't want a full time job.
I don't know what I want to do.
I study History.

Optimistic thread for me then.

History = research, essays, debate, logical thought, ability to evaluate large amounts of information. They're useful skills for a lot of things.

History is widely accepted because it's proof that someone has mastered certain skills that may be important in a particular profession.
