That's absolutely true - they get forgotten about by the end of the first year and mean nothing if you make it to the end of the degree course.

You got into uni, there's no point dude. Once you've got a degree nobody looks at your A levels.

That's pretty steep for a remark. As well as the fact your mark can drop.

So it's gonna cost £61 to get both of my remarks ... and, of course, there's no assurance that I'll get a better mark. Indeed, if I do get a worse mark, that's what I'm stuck with.

Dunno if I can be bothered, really.

You would gain early support, from people that already liked you. Then you'd rapidly take over the butt-of-the-joke position which John Prescott revels in, as the nation feels you're slipping into dementure after the 14th referendum on whether Michael Owen holds divine status is called.

Ring up your college and tell them they're balls.

At mine, I had to have a GCSE grade of C in Maths to get into the Computing course, unfortuanatly, my time at school was spent being a deliquant rather then studying, so I achieved only a grade D in Maths.

When college started, I just walked into the Computing class and started the course. I got an A at A/S level and an A at A2 level.

Moral of story? College is a load of BS.
