The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
The sports forum is a great place to be but doesn't have much going on all the time, plus every other forum has one so why can't we?
Maybe with all the replies things will look much more popular
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest footbal match, to the next Olympic games, or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
If anyone else tries to copy this you will fail miserably and i will be forced to laugh at you.
Oh and no spaming or text talk its not liked by anyone and it isn't funny to spam.
And this thing about England having such a great team...Its nothing without having a world class holding mid. Lampard and Gerrard may be two great attacking players, but they cant do a job like Emerson, Mascherano/Cambiasso, Makelele etc
Don't think so. Beckham, yes.
We have the strongest spine in the world, plus Ashley Cole. It's Neville, Beckham and Joe Cole that I see as our potential weak links. We're also lacking a truly world class keeper, although with the richest selection of centre-halves you could hope to have, this shouldn't be a massive problem.
It's unfair to base an opinion of a team on one perfomance, especially a friendly. I saw Brazil really struggle against Peru in a WCQ a few months ago, and that was a competitive match.

Cripers... You must have posted about 200 posts yesterday when I wasn't here because I was ahead of you before that :-D

I know, and monkey_man in 5th is almost 200 posts behind me :-(
Oh, and Murray's hurt his shoulder.
Safin starts waving his arms about after missing out on a set point and the commentators start saying how it's terrible to let your opponent know you're frustrated.
Murray serves, hits the net, lets out an angry sigh, the commentators stay completely silent.

I hate that face.
Whats not to love about Nadal? He does it without a big serve, he's got all the strokes, and someone of the calibre of Federer deserves a proper rival instead of Roddick. It's like Sir Alex having to put up with Kev Keegan before Wenger came along.
Oh, and Nadal's got long greasy hair and he's stacked. Like Baros.
