Now here's something I'm sure we can all agree on - kids in movies SUCK. They need to be erased from movie history, kept in cupboards til they're 16 or something.

Warning: this story contains some brutal child-harming fantasies that CrossBob may find offensive.

Reasons why Snuggly is welcome to "plug" his site:

1) Every article is garaunteed to be of a great quality
2) He's a member of this site, rather than random stranger who just comes in and plonks an advertisement.
3) These articles are the sort of topics he'd've written here back in the day only now he's spread his wings to bring them to an audience beyond this website, where he can put pictures with them on a colourful background.
4) Seeing as I come here anyway, it's easier to find out about updates here rather than hitting refresh on the site itself "incase".
5) To sum it up, it's good for the forums rather than a burden. All the usual reasons for "banning" plugging doesn't apply here.
He's not advertising anything, he's not trying to steal our people to a "rival forum", it's not some crappy ad-filled, pop-up spewing hole that's going to slow down your computer.


Instead of quoting "netiquette", how about realise where it comes from?

The rules says no linking to competetor's site.
I don't think a film review site is in any competition to a game retailer.

Also it's not like he is taking us all their to get money or any sort of gain apart from our opinions. There are no banners on the site that i can see and no pop-ups.

Perfectly harmless

To be honest, I don't really mind if Snuggly links to his site, it's a pretty good way of keeping me updated on new stuff that has been uploaded.

+ The fact that he is doing the project out of his own pocket, promotion is a good way of spreading the word.

It's someone without the balls to do it on their main account how sad.

I have no real problem with him linking to his site, I like most of it, and to be honest I probably wouldn't read anything on there if it weren't for him posting links on here. However, I do find it strange that he's allowed to link to a site full of swearing and none of the staffies bat an eye lid.

Why did someone make a new account to tell Snugs off? He doesn't work here anymore, he can't get you!

Oh, and shut up. Freeola web hosting has been dire of late, and their broadband costs too much. This isn't anywhere near compensation.

I agree it seems every single bloody time he writes something he must dedicate a thread and tell everyone about it. He's even stopped directly linking the articles just to encourage more hits on his website. How incredibly pathetic.

Why dont you just post your articles on here, of course you'll have to remove all the retarded swearing that is.

I'm betting that those who do want to read your articles will already have your site bookmarked so dont feel the need to bother the rest of us with your stupid threads with links to your site taking up 10% of the front page. For some the Movies & Music forum is the only thing worth coming to this website, so please dont ruin a good thing by spamming it every time you update your website. Either keep it all in one thread or dont bother advertising here anymore.
