I'm thinking of subscribing for a month maybe.
Anything new since about March/April? I bet there are about 3 updates too.

Good stuff.
I'll just have to ponder races and classes for a few months now.

Groups have nothing to do with the other side.

You join either the Alliance or the Horde. Then, in PvE, you meet an opposite faction player. If you are flagged, they can attack you, and vice versa. If not, you can wave and jump about, simple. I'm not sure if territory is the same in PvE as PvP, which has three types - Safe, Contested and Enemy. In Safe, the enemy cannot attack you unless you attack them, contested both attack, and in Enemy you can't unless they do to you.

The only thing (really) I'm not sure about is what the relationship between Horde and Alliance is - say, on a normal server, do you have to stay in your groups or have to fight the others?

Dragonmaw, as Alliance (Whitestripes, Kim, Me, Bullett, Sheepy) - PvP, i.e player vs player combat is more common. Used to suck, but now they have battlegrounds (i.e, areas dedicated to combat), killing in normal PvE (I.e, questing to level etc) is less common.

OR

Thunderhorn, as Horde (Pandy, Light, Me sometimes, Goatboy) PvE solely, but PvP is available if 'flagged' etc etc (i.e, basically telling everyone 'Yes, you can try and kill me if you want!'

WoW is amazing. Go to the forums - [URL]http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/[/URL]. Most threads are rubbish there, but some + the stickies will be useful, in Newcomers and general topics etc.

Be warned, there are a lot of people who take it way too seriously, work out the best possible combinations of gear and stuff. But there are a lot of decent people who just like going 'OOOO' and 'AHHH' and then killing things.

Where's got the most SR guys on it?
