As mentioned by Lipe in another topic, you can download a demo off the Sports Interactive site, which gives you all the English and Scottish leagues to play with for the first 6 months, which isn't bad at all.
You get some weird results though - I just beat Arsenal 6-1 with Chelsea (we can only hope, hey?) and also it's generally pretty hard to score.
Good fun though, looking forward to the full game.

If I got the chance to do the local teams...the Owls players on the games might be a bit overated...
I used to get the CM games free, right up to the last sigames and Eidos effort. I did some help creating the original database, see? So when Eidos and sigames split, sigames maintained the database I helped make. Sadly it seems I won't be bagging myself a free one this time; the split I think is what did it. Ah well.
Ive ordered it but waiting for it to arrive, just wondered what anyones first impressions were.
