I mean think of the games being released or just released on the xbox or ps2. Games such as Killzone and Gta San Andreas on the PS2 have been highly anticipated. Then theres games on the Xbox such as Fable and Halo 2 - two of the most wanted games for years. But where is Gamecubes big games? Metroid Prime 2 is coming out soon and looks great, i grant you that. Other then that though i can't think of any games coming out soon on the GC that im really excited about.
And the gaming industry is approaching it's biggest sales period for the year - christmas. With the decline of great and wanted gamecube games on the list for the end of this year is gamecubes time up?
Lets hear everyone elses opinions on this - it's intresting to see what other people feel.

Part-time gamers.
All the people I know that are proper gamers own all consoles, and all the people on here that appear to be so own them all as well, or at least two.
I'm sort of in between. I own Gamecube and PS2, although apart from PES4, I rarely play my PS2. So meh, maybe I'm part-time as well.

First of all N64 was very expensive, the games being generally £50 a turn. This was because it was more expenisive to make, hence resulting in less games.
Second open your eyes! It's winter!
As the demand for video games go up producers and developers should be providing us with the mixture of quality and quanitiy that we need. In short i don't think Nintendo have grasped this yet.

Alot of these are quite average (sonic heroes, PSO3, everything or nothing, warioware in my opinion) and most are not exclusive (code veronica, sonic heroes,POP,Spinter cell,BGAE, everything or nothing) which if you read my original post was the point I was trying to make.

True the EA games reach the top... but you can spend a whole year and not see one Nintendo game in the top ten... then all of a sudden one hits the top spot.
2003 was ideal for this. Nintendo got 4 games into the top ten, Metroid Prime, Resident evil 0, Zelda and Mario Kart.
3 of those entered at number one.
The charts say it

Actually Konga is number 1, Pikmin number 2 but let's not quibble.
Second Sight, Colleseum, Wario Ware, Konga, Pikmin, Day of Reckoning, Code Veronica, Final Fantasy, Mario Golf, Animal Crossing, Sonic Heroes, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, Phantasy Star Online 3, Beyond Good and Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Harvest Moon and Everything or Nothing...
Are just a list of the "decent" Gamecube games released this year. Sure not as many as the competitors but plenty for us gamers to sink our teeth into.
Tales of Symphonia, Rogue Agent, Call of Duty, Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 2 and Mario Party 6 still to come.
That my friend is plenty of funking games.
I have 50 very good Gamecube games. Do you? And if now how can you complain that there isn't enough?
And there are never many games released during the summer. Go outside. There's an idea.

And with Liveage all go and Pro Evo 4 and Halo 2 on their way, this doesn't look set to change.

Paper Mario 2 and Metroid Prime 2 is more than enough!
I'm gonna struggle to get those two and Prince of Persia 2.
Donkey Konga has done pretty well for Nintendo, kudos to that.
