The thing is we can all argue which is better and what not, but at the end of the day hype ruins games, it's a shame really, because personally I enjoy games for what they are, even if I get Halo 2 and I dislike it, I won't be too bothered because I don't get sucked into the hype. Everyone has an opinion which they are entitled to, each to their own and all that.

I think from all I have read and watched of Halo 2 and the same for Half-Life 2 with the bonus of having played the Beta I am more than within my rights to say how 'I' think it looks/plays.

Halo 2 looks to do on Live what I've wished games would do for a long time.
There's so many different game styles and then you've got all the different things to customise. Weapons, ammo, amount of teams and other minor details that other Live games have left out. They're the things that I've truely missed since the days of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.
The amount of customisation options is gonna be phenomenal. Then you've got all the vehicles and weapons and......it's gonna be one hell of a game online.

Where you all get excited over an Xbox LIVE title, I have seen it all before on PC, as have many others. You think that the options in Halo 2 impress but they don't, they should be standard for all releases.
