Apologies for starting so many topics, I'll stop now, honest. I just wanted to make it known how much I LOVE this transfer. Luis Figo is a god, we all know this.
And Carra has signed a new contract.
Ooh-hoo-ha-ha, happy happy happy week (since U-Turn Wednesday) for me so far.
Friday - We sign Nesta
Saturday - We sign Rosicky
Sunday - "It was a joke, we haven't really signed you, get out of Melwood, Zenden!"

Well infact I do have a satellite dish tracker (which of course is illegal) at my home and I can watch football from most places in Europe hell I can watch Arabian football if I wish and ever since I heard about Reina links I try and watch as many of their games as possible. This follows suit to any player we are linked with throughout the season. I will also have you know that Sissoko played a lot of first team football before he suffered a serious injury last season which kept him out of the team. So yes I do happen to watch many, many spanish matches. Thank you.
:P
Although he isn't even that really. He starts off deep when he attacks and is officially a DMC.

Really? Sky Sports keep referring to him as a forward :/

Ya wouldn't be a tad pessimestic would ya?! I take it you don't watch much Spanish footbal? Sissoko is a great signing and will give the team more options. Liverpool will be playing rougly 70 matches this year and every player will be needed. Maybe try to trust trust Rafa. He managed to win us the European Cup with quite an average squad. I like to give players a chance before I write them off.
Zenden is a good buy and will weigh up with 8 or 9 goals a season. I see him sitting on the bench mostly but he is not a bad player to have to bring on after 70 minutes.
I agree Figo will be an excellent signing if it happens. he may be 32 but he has a great footballing mind and will no doubt give us a few goals and plenty of assists. Gary McCallister was old when he joined but he brought some great memories.
Finally Reina. This guy is class. I seen many Villareal matches last year and he impressed me alot(apart from one bad match against Barcelona). He seems to be good in all goalkeeping department and i think he saved something like 7 out of 9 penaltys.
Does that mean we're similar?
Either way, enough of this petty squabbling.
Figo is still rubbish.
The stopper thing is great. As is "Hammers land Turk" and stuff like that. Also, every club seems to 'eye' someone every day. "Reds eye stopper".
And you talk about climate and geology.
ie - Cobblers sign stopper.
In other non-tool related news, Figo has apparently 'pleaded' with Real Madrid to let him go. I love Sky Sports terminology. They never say Sir Alex, they say Scottish tactician, and stuff like that. The image of Figo on his knees, crying grease-tears and saying he wants to make that partnership with Finnan work, that's what 'plead' says to me.
