So not anywhere near expensive as was predicted, and with better battery power than was thought. No news on when it'll launch in the US or UK though.

Are Sony just using this to steal all of our electricity or something?

That is terrible.

Oh and that price was acchieved by converting the PSP's japanese price...

And note that that was before tax, the actual price of the system is 20,790 yen.

That is terrible, utterly terrible.

The price point excludes memory card and headphones... one is vital for games and the other vital for the music.

Due note that the DS could see a price drop at the PSP's launch when the price of LCD screens are down (they are very hard to get hold of at the moment).

What Whitestripes said, that battery life is terrible.
