Cube-Europe: "After the recent rumours about the PSP price point, we can now safely announce the official news. The PSP will be available in Japan on December 12th, with a price point of 19,800 yen - $185. The battery life will be something like be 4-6 hours for gameplay and 4-5 hours for movies."

So not anywhere near expensive as was predicted, and with better battery power than was thought. No news on when it'll launch in the US or UK though.

Suprising results for the poll. If it's not Thursday anymore:

Both= 9.04%

I'll be getting a DS, but unless something really amazing happens to the machine before launch, I wont be getting a PSP.

Why?

Because I've got a PS2 and I rarely play it. Why would I want a handheld one?

Yeah but it's not a real successor to MGS so doesn't matter.

I've spoken to 12 PS2 owners recently and asked if they plan to get a PSP.

They have all so far said "nah"... the same answer applies to the DS though. Although they all say it sounds good they just reiterate that handheld gaming aren't their thing.

That sounds a bit gay.

Not physical cards, cards as in Lost Kingodoms - i.e Snake has to pull a card that says 'shoot' to be able to shoot.
