It still doesn't do anything new or special, it's just a very well made FPS, and the level design is no longer sh|t.
The guns feel better and the sequence of knocking someone off a Ghost and stealing it is excellent, although I can't help but feel that when you're seeing the same animation for the 100th time you probably won't care anymore.
Most people know my main problems with the first were level design and the crappy enemies, apparently at least one of these has been sorted out so fingers crossed for the other one.

Nah, Plasma were betters. All you had to do was run straight up to something and stick the grenade on it, then it's only a matter of time.
The massive ones that fire the green balls and charge at you were rubbish, as were the grunts and all of the flood.
Nothing like twating a plasma grenade at their head, then watching as he runs off with it attached to his head and takes out another 3 guys with the blast.
The smaller grunts and jackly things were crap.
And avoiding the Library altogether......
Though it's good to hear that they may have fixed the monotonous level design.
Especially the Flood. They were awful. Balloons with evil intent.
Great story, shame about the enemies.
