How things change. This time last year I was in a job I really didn’t like, miserable, lonely and wondering just what to do with myself.
1 year later and I’m moving in with the lass I love. Yes, my career is still all over the place, (bloody fire service, how about actually recruiting?} But I really don’t care. I know what you’re thinking, “neither do we”, right? Well good for you.

This time last year I was doing my exams and about to go on holiday.
A year ago I would have just started 6th year, and would have had a free period right now.
I later took Advanced Higher Info Systems to fill this spot and dropped out of Advanced Physics because they wanted me to do 4 periods on a Monday, and without it I got to go home at 11am.
Yeah, that's where I was this time last year.
Actually, wait, this time last year would have been a Thursday, so yeah, I'd have had a free period then too, which I later filled with..... Adv Higher Info Systems.
And I just bought a guitar.
I'm still no good though.
