I have a wart. It's been on my hand for about 5 years and I only started to get rid of it a few months ago when I bought a treatment called Wartner.

The Wartner got rid of it leaving a little scar but then in a couple of weeks it came back. Then I went to the doctor and he gave me this stuff to put on it, he said I should put it on every night for about 4 weeks...it's gone well past 4 weeks and the stuff he gave me hasn't done anything but hurt me every time I apply it.

Is there anything I could buy that will actually get rid of the wart for good or do I have to go back to the doctor (I dont really want to seeing as it's booked up for 5 weeks).

Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I had to do to get rid of my veruca. Stick the stuff on and then grind like crazy. Yes, it stings and bleeds a bit, but its not that painful...at least it wasn't for me.

My instructions (by the doctor) were to use one of those nail things to grind down the wart as much as possible and then put the stuff on it. So there I am, grinding away when my wart starts to bleed...

Now everytime I grind it, it just bleeds and when I put the stuff on it stings like hell.

When I made the doctors appointment aaaages ago I had to wait 5 weeks, I thought he was gonna burn it off or something but instead he gave me this useless liquid thing which hasn't done anything.

I cant beleive I waited 5 weeks for this.

Freezing is the way to go, I had an annoying one on my left middle finger on the knuckle. Tried treatments for ages, nothing worked. Wen't into my doctors, burnt it off there and then. After a week it had scabbed over and fallen off. :D

Bazooka cleared my varruca. However, I also have the wart problem on one of my hands. I tried this one cream, but it didn't do much and the pain it caused became unbearable.

Frozen, eh?

Try 'bazooka', I don't know about warts but it cleared up a veruca I had a couple of years ago pretty easily.

Liquid Nitrogen is the way to go. :) I was born with a wart on my hand... 18 years on the scar's still there (and always will be) but I remember having it frozen off when I was around 7. Ah good times.

Doctors.

Had a vein in my nose frozen to stop nosebleeds and a veruca frozen too.

I was an icicle as a child. ;)

At the doctors or did you buy something to freeze it off?
