I have a wart. It's been on my hand for about 5 years and I only started to get rid of it a few months ago when I bought a treatment called Wartner.

The Wartner got rid of it leaving a little scar but then in a couple of weeks it came back. Then I went to the doctor and he gave me this stuff to put on it, he said I should put it on every night for about 4 weeks...it's gone well past 4 weeks and the stuff he gave me hasn't done anything but hurt me every time I apply it.

Is there anything I could buy that will actually get rid of the wart for good or do I have to go back to the doctor (I dont really want to seeing as it's booked up for 5 weeks).

Thanks.

Well what would be the point of that? If you put the stuff on it sets in and then you grind out the stuff you've applied and some of the wart too. Obv.

Well... obviously it's cold. Sounds a bit extreme though.

Now I'm slightly nervous about wart removal... thanks guys...

I had a wart on my hand for about 3 years.
I was told to leave it at first, but then he liquid nitrogened it (that stuff is cooooooooold) and it disappeared in a few weeks.

There's this stuff called "PS Lotion" - I got it years ago from some schister. It seemed to work though.

That's where second opinions first came about.

Well, seeing as quite a few people on here have had warts I don't see why I shouldn't ask.

And i'll get a quicker answer to the problem rather than waiting 5 weeks to visit a GP.

I might try your method tonight...

I had one on the top of my foot. It was causing a bit of discomfort so I pulled it off, which of course hurt a lot and it bled hideously. It never came back though.
