It's excellent but I have no idea who the artist/band is.
People who like this Kaiser Chiefs song might like:
XTC - Making plans for Nigel
XTC - Senses working overtime
I'll "acquire" some of their stuff sometime.
Reminds me of some XTC songs I have.
Oh and Clazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002N4ZB0/qid=1117730946/sr=8-5/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i5_xgl/202-1135198-9960623
Otherwise *shudder* I might like more than 2 U2 songs and I'd never have discovered Joe Jackson who did most of this 'new stuff' about 10-15 years ago with more skill and more intelligence.

It's you who has the odd "unique" taste!

No. Cos you like this one.
;P
I've generally been rude about the wave of 'The' bands because 8 out of every 10 have infact been awful.
As much as I'd like to breakdown everything into neat little categories so that you can feel your favourite band is 'unique' I really can't be bothered and neither should you.
If it's somewhere between pop and rock with guitars and it's awful I generally term it as 'indie' because that's what middle of the road guff generally is.
Should I call it 'electro-80's-revival-guff' in future?
> Who's 'blah blah blah'?
Any new band, or old band that doesn't go to your unique taste.
Regardless of what genre most would class them as, you then class them all as Indie. Then you insult their lead singer and call them weak...
