Sure, he still has holes in his game (nobody's perfect and very few offer a world-class package in all attributes), but I think you grossly exaggerate them.
How do you want to define world class could be the question.
If captaining one of the top countries in the world doesn't cut it, I'd nudge you in the direction of a dictionary.
*But Keano i can play central midfield, honest i can come on let me stay here for the game*
Get your f*****g ar$e back over to that wing you little eejit

He is not a winger though
He's very limited, he doesn't have the ability to dribble and take it past a player which is quite an important skill for a winger. Yes he puts in a good cross and has one good free kick in about 10. Is that suddenly the criteria for a world class player? If so then by all means put him in the same category as those players i've listed but if not stick him in the good category. To me he is certainly not 'World Class'
For me he's an average player who can put in a good cross when he's got enough time to do so and doesn't even deserve to be thought of with those players i've mentioned.

Er, what?
Fair enough, he doesn't have the pace or dribbling skill that you'd want from a winger but in terms of long balls, set pieces and crossing he's second to none. He also captains his country.
That sounds pretty world class to me.

I'd like to see Micheal Owen back in the Premiership...Not many English players are even in it!!!
