Don't you just hate it how so much information has been released about this game. I already know one spoiler. I'm now gonna have to avoid all articles on TP except for the reviews :)

That's what I'm curious about heading off to uni ... what the firewall will actually let you do.

I'll be off to Uni in October with my spiffy new laptop (hopefully a Rockdirect Pegasus or something) which will be an absolute beast (I wouldn't have it any other way). Uni has wireless internet plus massive bandwidth internet but I don't know if the firewall will let me play games. I was really looking forward to playing Battlefield 2 - it looks positively awesome.

It's been about 3 years since my dad told us we'd get broadband.

Dialup's improved considerably since then, I think it's because I'm the ony one actually dialling up.

I wouldn't be playing online games (well, not for a while at least, my computer doesn't play games), but I will once I get a next-gen console.

A 3MB cap?
That would last about 10 minutes.

Ohohoho.

I've got a 3G cap per month, because my dad's a tight-ass (as most of you will have experienced) - never run-over, but I don't play games online, just websurfing, the occasional download / porn sesssion.

I figured that I use about 1.5GB a month, so I am "in the process" of upgrading with NTL (read: rang them up and they said they'd come round and sort it for us [new set top box] at "the beginning of April", and still no word)

NTL's better.

1GB cap a day, whereas BT is 15GB per month, and NTL is free for the first month.

If I get 1MB from NTL, it's only 9.99 for teh first year (Cheaper than my current dialup!?", and it's 3GB per month rather than 1 for BB.

But 3GB sounds a bit small.

Go with BT. £24.99 for pretty much un-capped 2 meg.

I fear you could be right, with the new offence, and the crappy crappy crappy Seahawks defence.

I'll get broadband when I have a job, which should be soon.
It's only like 4 pounds more for 1 meg BB.

And Madden 06 looks even better.
oph I'm giddy thinking about it (giddy? WTF?)
