Don't you just hate it how so much information has been released about this game. I already know one spoiler. I'm now gonna have to avoid all articles on TP except for the reviews :)

I probably would stay on campus even if the uni was just down the road. It's just part of the whole experience, and you'll miss out on a lot of stuff if you're not with everyone else most of the time.

Staying on campus beats commuting full-stop.

I'll be living on-campus next year, couldn't be doing with travelling even a short journey to lectures.. not a fan of public transport :P Especially if it's 9am in the morning or some similarly ungodly hour.

Well I imagine it'll block your ports, which means no online gaming. However, they only block your ports if you have access to the Uni servers, so if your room's connection is independant of the Uni intranet you should be fine.
