Bought my PS2 in Feb time and have had no problems until late. The machine has recently started to make a loud wurring noise, I think you all know what I mean. I believe it is the fan, but a lot louder than usual. Now I have discussed this with someone at work and they say you are suppose to take them back if that happens. Can someone confirm this or has anyone had the same problem?
Cheers for any help.

Was that the one at WHSmiths? If so, I thought that

The offer is still on the website
> Dust will get in no matter where you put it.
True, but it doesn't hurt to minimise it. Keeping the machine on a carpet will surround it with static, attracting more dust towards it - plastic case or not - which will then be sucked in my the fan.

Was that the one at WHSmiths? If so, I thought that stopped 22/5. I never bought any PS2 games in that because the offer stopped before the good ones were released. I did club together with some Uni friends to buy a DVD each at a reduced price. Jaws was £12!
And on the other side its about 2 inches max from my HIFI.
