Oh My God ! Something frustrating has just came across my mind: Do you remember when capcom announced that the resident evil series was going to be exclusive for the gamecube ? And that resident evil 4 will only come out on Gamecube ? When that happened a lot of ps2 owners have bought a gamecube just for resident evil, especially after the release of RS 0 and the modified RS 1 . I wonder what are they feeling right now ?

Resident Evil is a massive franchise. And although it won't look as good and you are getting it a year later you should be thankful you are getting it at all.
My word!! with Resi Evil 5 you may actually be able to properly run around like in such games as Metal Gear and GTA.
