Levels 1-4 were good.
Assault on the Control Room got on my nipples.
343 Guilty Spakr was moderatly good.

I would say 6.5 is above average only.
I score things properly, 5 is average, which means 6.5 = 'very good'.
So it's quite a nice wang.

How can you give it an 8 when more than 50% of the game is distinctly average?
I give it 6.5, which isn't a bad score from me.

True enough - you started repeating levels, fighting bubblegum balloons, and generaly getting bored.
I did like the last level, and the Warthog escape - if at first it was annoying, I can do it easily now.

Levels 1 - Half way through level 6 are brilliant.
It all goes wrong after that first meeting with the flood.

I'd give it a 7.
First few levels are good, outside sections are excellent. But then the flood are introduced and it all goes downhill from there.
Take Guilty Spark thing for example. Starts off in an excellent swamp area swith spooky mist and excellent atmosphere, but then for some reason Bungie decide to take you into some stupid underground base which just sucks. It could have been an excellent and tense battle against the Covernant, but no, they had to take you into the identical interior section to fight stupid mushrooms.
