If you knew you would get away with it as far as with regards to law and you'd only have to live with your conscience, would you…

1) Steal 100 pounds from an old person?
2) Steal 100,000 pounds from a bank?
3) Kill someone for 1,000,000 pounds?

HSBC made about £10Billion last year.

And you care about the financial wellbeing of a Multinational, million-dollar insurance company then?

The point is this money doesn't belong to you, it belongs to somebody else regardless of whether it affects an old person or not. Besides, even if the insurance does cover it, somebody is still gonna be out of pocket. A bank won't just decide to print another £100,000 because somebody robbed the last pile.

Hell, if you know you can get away with it, why setlle at 100k? just take £1m and let someone live :D

Isn't it the bank's responsibility though?
They can't just take £100,000 out a random number of old ladies.

Plus, they make millions off people.

Proabably because banks have insurance and would recoup the money back for their customers anyway.

If you robbed an old codger, a) he wont see that money again b)you could cause him serious injury with a chance that he may die of the shock/injuries.

Therefore it gets a no no.

banks are insured though, they'll get it all back.

I like the way people are really against 1, yet would do easily do 2 even though it's inevitable that more than £100 of that £100,000 would belong to some old basser.
